I came across the STLTH pod vape system a couple months ago on Instagram. The second I saw it, I was in love. I mean, first of all, it was a pod vape and I'm kind of addicted to these things. Second - the rose gold STLTH was so pretty! It was all girly looking, unlike any other vape I'd seen so far. I ordered it immediately.
When I got it I was even more thrilled.
The STLTH pod kit comes with the battery (main body), one STLTH pod (I got Berry Blast), and a charger. Pretty basic.
The thing that really got me was how it felt in my hand. The body of the STLTH vape pen is soft! Like flesh. It's like touching someone's inner forearm. Even when I'm not actually vaping, I love to hold it in my hand. It's become a kind of calming action that makes my ADHD brain not feel like it is going to pop out of my left ear.
Ok, time to try it out...
First, the flavor...I've tasted a few great pod flavors in the past 6 months but this was awesome! The Berry Blast reminded me of a wine we used to drink called Strawberry Angel. Sweet but not too sweet. A little zip. And so smooth. I had also ordered the Honeydew Menthol (because I love anything menthol) and was very happy with it - the combination of honeydew melon and menthol were just meant to go together. Since then I have also ordered the Tundra Berry, which has just a touch of menthol and I found it to be very enjoyable, too. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors - Crisp Apple, Tobacco Blend, and just added, Mango. I'm sure they will be great, too.
Pods are pre-filled with 2ml of e-liquid and you get your choice of 35mg or 50mg per ML. I'm a heavy smoker (was) so the 50mg is just right for me. If you want a lighter hit, go with the 35mg first.
Now, the device itself...
So far, the STLTH vape pen only comea in 4 colors - black, grey, navy blue, and rose gold. Hopefully, there will be new colors in the future. I'd love to see red or purple. And yes, I'd buy a second device in a heart beat because they are only $24.99 CA.
I used mine pretty heavily for the first week because I liked it so much. I didn't have any problems with it at all. It's a bit of a tighter draw that some other pod devices but not bad. I'm guessing it is likely closer to being similar to the JUUL, because I've heard JUUL users say that other pod vape devices are too loose. The battery almost lasted all day on my heaviest use day. I had to plug it in and switch to something else when I was laying in bed watching television. The pods last about two days if you're really going at it. When I was working and couldn't vape, I could make the pods last 3 or more days. So, that's really pretty damn good, IMO.
Delivery of my items have always been super fast - like 3 business days fast - and considering that I didn't pay any shipping (free if you order more than $25 worth of products), that made me very happy.
I've been pretty happy with all the devices that I've tried so far (with the exception of the SMOK Fit which I've never even mentioned because every pod I tried leaked like a bugger and I returned it and got an exchange for some e-juice instead), but the STLTH is definitely my number one. It is always charged and ready to go. I do give it a break and use it as my secondary vape once in a while, but it is pretty much always near by.
